Anjeli 19mths Parisha 6mths & a goodbye....

I'm terribly sorry that I haven't kept my blog up to date...but here's the rundown of what's been going on with mi familia....

Anjeli...she's a character now...she knows how to push our buttons then when she sees us get mad...she knows how to make us gak jadi marah with her...anjeli also understands both languages and also speak in both languages (indo & english). She says many words already...but still banyak..yah! yah! Um! um! Baby languange gitu lhooo....heheheh..When she's cranky, she just points to anything...and we show it to her...she keeps on saying no! no! no! jadi suka bingung what she wants...jatohnya yah...kasih susu langsung..hehehehe...bobo deh =P

Parisha...dah bisa be on her hands & knees but lom crawl, but she's scooting...she wants to play with everything that anjeli's playing...of course I had started her on solid foods already. Parisha's character is so different that Anjeli...she's more sensitive...a bit tempermental. And agak keras yaaaahh....example, when she's playing with something and you take it away from her and give her something else...she would scream!

But both of them, enjoy playing with each other...Anjeli lebih banyak ngalahnya seeeehh....and she cares for her sister very much...she loves feeding her sister her milk. Sometimes it's funny...it's like it's in her own terms..meaning, she would say "dah" (done)...but Parisha masih mo minum...but funny thing is Parisha never gets upset.

Last week, we had gone to LA...brought the whole family there. Spent the night at Barlina's house. (Thank you bar for your awesome hospitality) On Saturday we went to Disneyland. I was excited cuz I wanted to know Anjeli's reaction when riding the rides. So her 1st ride was the Dumbo ride. When we had gone on it...she was in between scared but yet excited. So, when dumbo went up, she got scared yah meringis2 gituh....when dumbo went down...she was laughing...lucu ajah ngeliat dia kayak gituh.
We stayed there till Sunday night. Jeffry had to work the next day...so I had drove home...so Jeffry could sleep in the car.

Anyway, today, my inlaws, and sister inlaw are leaving for Jakarta. It's gonna be sad to see them leave. I was gettin used to them here...6 months went by so fast! The past week...my mother inlaw suka nangis...wajar lah...namanya jg grandma. Parisha is very attached to her...and I think that's what's making her more berat to leave.

After they leave, the adjustment with Parisha is gonna be really hard..i'm not to worried about Anjeli..And tomorrow, it will be Jeffry's 1st day taking care 2 babies alone!I will be working....But we'll just have to see how it goes.

Parisha loves to joke around a lot...but when she's cranky...it's bad. Anjeli also has started playing with her lil sister....only when we're not looking though heheheh....Here are several short videos of our girls...Enjoy! =)

Anjeli's & Parisha's World

Anjeli will soon be 17 months...and she has caught up and learned so many things...either by us teaching her..or she learns on her own. Just today before I had left the house to do some errands....she came out the room with her shoes on. What was surprising was that she didn't have the shoes reversed..meaning...her left on her right...and her right on her left...does it makes sense?? Also, the shoe wasn't missed match at all!!! Alhamdulillah ... we're very blessed to have a very intelligent n smart daughter...can't wait to see how Parisha will be. She now understands when we tell her to do somethings...such as...she would throw away her own diaper after we change her...and even her lil sister's diaper...Close her mouth when she cough. When she thinks something smells...she will pinch her nose and say "bau" meaning "stinky" in our language.She now knows how to say her 1 2 3's both in English and Indonesian...several colors...blue, yellow, purple...She can be such a girly girl..yet can be a tomboy too!!! Man...she climbs everywhere! So, that's Anjeli's world as of right now =)

Parisha had started to role over yesterday...and she laughs a lot! She's very different from Anjeli....cries really hard when you approach her if she doesn't know you (it doesn't happen to everyone..but mostly). You gotta talk softly to her...or else she thinks you're mad at her or something...to sum it all...very sensitive. Hopefully, as she grows older...she won't be quite as sensitive. This Friday, will be her 4 months well baby appointment...I can't wait to find out how much is her weight & height...

I had started taking this video because...'Anjeli was sooo into her reading. She lovessss to read! But when she saw me with a camera, she had thought that I was taking a picture of her...that's why she's cheezin...hehehe..

Memorial Day...

Before piercing

It's memorial day...we had planned to go to Pasar Senggol(indonesian bazaar). But we decided not to cuz I had caught a cold & Jeffry had to work in the afternoon...The weather was nice...we just walked to the Westlake mall. Mama (Jeffry's mom), Jeffry, Anjeli, Parisha & I came upon Claire's (accessory store) and I decided to get Parisha's ears pierced. Before we got there...Parisha started gettin fussy. I guess she's sensing something. We sat her down on my lap...Mama started distracting her...I had to hold her hands and head. Even before the lady had pierced her ear...she started screaming. Everyone in the store started watching.

Then...*duuusss* the shot of the ear piercing gun...pierced through her ears...Parisha started turning bright red...It was sad to see her go through that..but..I had to do it before she gets older...then she'll start grabbing her ear....
